FarmSide is preparing its first regional pilot. This page summarizes how the app handles personal data, stand submissions, photos, reports, follows, preferences, and account requests.

Account data

If you sign in, FarmSide may store your account identifier, email address, display name, saved stands, follows, notification preferences, submissions, reports, claims, and moderation records needed to operate the service.

Location

Location may be used for nearby discovery, stand placement, and user-initiated visit verification. FarmSide is designed to minimize precise location retention and avoid storing raw location history for normal browsing.

Stand submissions

Submitted stand details, photos, corrections, reports, and fresh updates may be checked before they affect public listings. Photos should avoid people, license plates, house numbers, children, and private areas.

Photos

The iOS app prepares submitted photos before upload so embedded image metadata is removed from the bytes FarmSide stores.

Public visibility

Approved stand details may become visible to other FarmSide users or on approved public stand pages. Stands still in review, removed, private, or unchecked are not intended for public web display.

Service providers

FarmSide uses service providers such as Supabase for authentication, database, and storage, and Cloudflare for public web hosting. FarmSide does not sell personal data or use data for third-party advertising tracking.

Support and deletion

You can start an account deletion request in the app settings or email farmside@ethosagency.co. If deletion requires admin processing, FarmSide will keep you informed and remove account data that is not required for legal, safety, security, or moderation reasons.
